What seventeen year-old doesn’t dream of acquiring a ship and sailing the high seas, seeking adventure, and dodging pirates at every turn? Me. That’s who. I was just an orphan girl from a tiny port town that isn’t even on most maps, but now I’m the captain of an untrained crew on a ship held together by little more than prayers and luck. Add in a past dogging my steps and the looming threat of an epic war… What am I doing out here again?
Guess it’s time for me to step up. I just wish I knew what I was stepping into.

Greetings traveler. Enter and rest a spell. I'm not sure what fell or foul tides brought you to dock at my shores, but you are welcome at the Whimsical Winds.
Me? I'm Tianna Blackboot. I'm a scholar, scribe, historian, lover of all things story and song. I've been a shopkeeper, a farmer, explorer, diplomat, and author, but I suppose that last is why you're here. I write low-fantasy, high-whimsy, adventure stories, and presumably, you enjoy them.
Free Denisi is where I call home - that set of archipelagos bordering the western sea known to the rest of the world as the Pirate Isles. It suits me fine, though if you plan to stick around, I'm sure you will find it's charms for yourself. There are dangers to be sure, always keep a weather eye out for non-affs (that's non-affiliated pirates, to you lubbers), but a more beautiful swath of nature you'll not find anywhere else on Arret. Believe me, I've looked.
